The Food and Agriculture Organisation is a specialised agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to defeat hunger. Their main goal is to achieve food security for all and make sure that people have regular access to enough high quality food to lead active healthy live.
FAO’s tasks:
- shares critical information about food
-Play a connector role between those who have the knowledge and those who need it
-Reducing food miles
-Creating access to enough food for everyone in need
We were asked to to continue their research and to define themes based on the development of theSmart Hub by testing and applying insights and ideas to a more complex architectural proposal. We will continue exploring how the skin growing the crop interacts with the program and how public and private will experience the spaces.
